SHAG has helped me become a better all around athlete. It has worked on my agility and strength. From banded workouts to to lifting heavy weight. One thing I really like about SHAG is how everything we do in the workout translates to something that would happen in the game. Also, it is not all about on the court things. SHAG has also taught me that nothing is going to come easy to you in life, because if it was easy everyone would do it. Whatever goals you have come from hard work and consistency. 

I am an athlete writing to express my gratitude and share my experience that I have had with SHAG. Through the course of the four years I have been with SHAG I am proud of the growth that I have done, not only physically, but also mentally. Thanks to SHAG I have grown as a person and as an athlete. As a young kid being exposed to the essence of hard work, I learned the importance of perseverance and consistency every single workout. SHAG has supported me from the moment I started inside the weightroom and supported me on the basketball court even now. Along with that support, it has also pushed me to become a better version of myself day by day. Within the workouts, I was not only training to become a basketball player, but a versatile athlete. SHAG is not just a program that builds athletes to fit their sport, but a program that builds the athletes character to be role models and respectable people as well. The program takes careful consideration of each individual as a whole for what they need and it is not difficult for a person to distinguish that it truly cares for every single athlete’s well being. I could not imagine spending my time anywhere else, for I know that if I had, I would not be where I am today. SHAG has given me the opportunity to become an elite athlete from a very young age and has never let me settle to be less.

SHAG Academy has been one of the most transforming experiences of my athletic journey. It didn’t just push me physically, it challenged me emotionally, mentally and helped me grow in ways I never expected. The structure, intensity, and discipline of the workouts taught me accountability and resilience. SHAG training prepared me for the rigorous demands required for the next level. Every session with Willie reminded me that greatness is built with the grind and not just the game. 

But SHAG isn't just about my athletic performance. It has shaped me into the person I am today, more focused, driven, and more confident in every area of my life. Willie believed in me, pushed me past my limits and created an environment where growth was reachable. One of the biggest lessons I've learned from Willie is to always be humble and great things will come your way.

I started SHAG academy in the summer going into my 5th grade. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Coach Willie has been one of the most influential humans I’ve ever being around. Not only teaching me the game I love but also mentoring me through things outside of football. I would highly recommend taking time and checking out Shag academy. Sports performance wise it has helped me more then I can imagine, being able to go into my senior year with multiple D1 offers to continue my athletic career was more then I could even imagine and it all started with Coach Willie as a little elementary school student. It has taught me to stick with activities even if it gets hard. With out the mentorship of Coach Willie I would not be were am I today.

SHAG is a lifestyle. When I started there as junior in high school until my most recent workout, it has been the same high intensity, grind and strain. SHAG took me farther than / truly thought I could get. Every workout is getting better at something and there's no complacency. No one ever feels out of place and nobody feels like they're bigger than others. SHAG is the reason I had multiple college scholarship offers and opportunities to play at the next level, while achieving many accolades. Every single person l've seen workout at SHAG has grew tremendously overtime. I genuinely wouldn't be where lam today without it. Willie gets everything out of you and no less. Stay Humble And Grind is the exact thing Willie established at SHAG

Academy and is the motto I live by in my everyday life.
